While Mr. Faizal was a national tennis player of Malaysia, he was qualified for the qualifying rounds of ATP 250 world tour, he won the gold medal in the Triennal Intervasity Games in Hong Kong and for MMU open, ( both in 2007 ). Mr.  Faizal was top 5 rank in Malaysia and won multiple titles during the year 2006.

As for his coaching achievements, in 2015 Mr.  Faizal has obtained a GPTCA certification. GPTCA stands for Global Professional Tennis Coach Association and is recognized in ATP. He was also the first Malaysian to obtain this certification. In 2014,  Mr. Faizal became the Assistant Director of Tennis at Harvest Tennis Academy in India after a year of being the Senior Head Coach there. 

 

Mr. Faizal was PTR certified in 2013. PTR stands for Professional Tennis Registry and is founded in the USA. PTR is one of the biggest channel of progression in tennis teaching, globally. He was the first Malaysian to obtain the highest level in Malaysia. He was also the Director of Tennis at AMB Sports Management Ltd in Shanghai. He was the Head Coach of Vladivostok Province team, Russia ( 2012 ).

 

In 2011, he was the Head Coach at Potter's Wheel Tennis Academy in Beijing, China and also assisted Carlos Rodriguez, former coach of Justin Henin and Li Na, both being former number one rank in the WTA. He was also the Head / Travelling coach of Turkmenistan Davis Cup team (2012) and also coached Aleksandr Ernepesov ( ITF rank 350 ) and Anastasia Prenko ( WTA rank 536 ) while in Turkmenistan.

In 2010, he was the Assistant Head Coach at EVO Tennis Academy in Shanghai for a year. Back in 2009, he coached Malaysia number one woman ( WTA rank 956 ), Jawariah Nordin and Malaysia Number one under 14 girls ( ATF rank 1 ), Yus Shazlin Nabilah. He also coached several corporate companies like Petronas, Shell, HSBC and PDRM tennis team. In 2008, he coached the Kuala Lumpur tennis team for the Malaysian games and he also got his first level ITF Certification in the same year.
